Title: ADA Etiquette, Communication, and Bus Operator Assistance (in-person, 4-hour workshop)

 Location: McAllen Convention Center, 700 Convention Center Blvd, Room 103, McAllen, TX 78501 

Instructor: Kristi McLaughlin, Easterseals Project Action

 Description: This interactive workshop prepares bus operators and other frontline employees to provide respectful, effective assistance to passengers with disabilities. Participants will learn ADA service requirements, disability etiquette, communication strategies, assisting passengers with varying disabilities, service animal requirements, and techniques for managing challenging situations while maintaining safety and professionalism. Intended audience: bus operators, dispatchers, supervisors, safety/training staff.
